Women's Swimming and Diving Triumphs in 107-84 Win Over Mount Saint Mary

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (4-2) secured a 107-84 win over Mount Saint Mary College (3-1) at Wightman Pool on Nov. 2.
TOP PERFORMERS:
  • Freshman Katie Antonoff led the Pioneers, posting first-place finishes in the 200 free (2:08.83), 500 free (5:45.43), and 1000 free (11:48.30).
  • Junior Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) touched the wall first in the 200 IM (2:23.69).
  • Freshman Skylar Coleman (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) triumphed in the 100 fly (1:14.12).
  • Freshman Olivia Morrison (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) was victorious in the one meter dive, finishing with a score of 145.05.
  • The Pioneers won the 200 medley relay with efforts by Coleman, Morrison, freshman Dalisha Romero (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy), and freshman Sarah Churchill (Washington Twp., N.J./Westwood), finishing with a time of 2:23.96.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Antonoff secured a personal record in the 200 free (2:08.83).
  • Coleman shaved time off her 100 fly best (1:14.29).
  • Morrison posted a personal best in the one-meter dive (145.05).
