NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving (7-4-1) opened the new year with a 102-81 road win at Mount Saint Mary (6-6-1) Jan. 13.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Junior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) led the Pioneers with wins in the 50 free (26.72), 100 free (59.66) and 100 back (1:08.71).
• Senior Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic) posted first-place finishes in the 100 free (2:18.71) and 100 fly (1:06.41).
• Sophomore Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) earned first in the 200 IM (2:24.34).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Freshman Skylar Filipowicz posted a personal best in the 100 back (1:28.01).

• William Paterson hosts SUNY-Delhi at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at Wightman Pool.
