RESULTS 

KENILWORTH, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (2-1) started its spring golf schedule with a 342-354 victory against New Jersey City (0-1) March 29 at the par-71, 6,855-yard Galloping Hill Golf Course.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior Anthony Slekis (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) posted an 82 (+11) to tie for first individually.
• Freshman Gavin Deeken (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) placed third with a 15-over 86, his career low.
• Junior Vincent Limone (Little Ferry, N.J./Ridgefield Park) and senior Christopher McCann (Highland Lakes, N.J./Vernon Twp.) tied for fourth with scores of 87 (+16).
• Freshman Greg Kepic (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional) recorded a 93 (+22, eighth), and classmate Lorenzo Assante (Montville, N.J./Montville Twp.) had a 115 (+44, 11th) during his collegiate debut.
