WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving (5-4-1) fell to FDU-Florham (5-0), 135-54, on Dec. 9 at Wightman Pool.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Junior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) finished second in the 50 free (26.51) and 100 back (1:04.93).
• Sophomore Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) placed second in the 200 IM (2:24.41) and 500 free (6:04.08).
• Senior Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic) touched the wall second in the 100 fly (1:05.20).
• Senior Nicole Kahwaty (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Morris County Tech) collected a second-place finish in the 100 breast (1:21.30).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Krajewski posted a personal best in the 200 free (2:14.71).
• Vail secured personal records in the 50 free (26.54) and 100 free (59.57).
• Freshman Kira Collum (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) knocked time off her 50 free personal best (31.42).
• Freshman Sarah Filipowicz (Hewitt, N.J./West Milford) locked in a personal best in the 100 back (1:31.14).
• Senior Jillian Starace (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) collected a personal record in the 100 breast (1:26.75).
