HAMBURG, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (0-2) dropped a 382-338 decision to New Jersey City (1-0) April 6 at a rainy Black Bear Golf Course.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Sophomore Vincent Limone (Little Ferry, N.J./Ridgefield Park) led the Pioneers with a 92 (+20) to finish fifth overall.
• Sophomore Anthony Slekis (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) posted a 93 (+21, sixth), and classmate Antonio Martiniello (Paramus, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) had a 95 (+23, seventh).
• Sophomore Christopher McCann (Highland Lakes, N.J./Vernon Twp.) carded a 102 (+30, eighth), while senior Yash Dave (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro H.S. South) compiled a 114 (+42, 10th).
• NJCU's Evan Stoker shot a four-over 76 at the par-72, 6,673-yard course.
