After Scoreless First Half, Women’s Soccer Bested by No. 12 Montclair State, 3-0

MONTCLAIR, N.J. – After playing to a scoreless draw at halftime, the William Paterson women's soccer team (2-10-5, 0-6-1 NJAC) was bested by No. 12 Montclair State (14-1, 6-1 NJAC), 3-0, Oct. 19.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Red Hawks broke the deadlock less than two minutes into the second half, then added goals in the 59th and 86th minutes.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Sarah Mantilla (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) collected four saves for WP.
 
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson will celebrate Senior Day Saturday, Oct. 22, prior to its 3:00 p.m. home match against No. 20 Rowan.
