WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (9-2) honored its seniors Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial), Leah Santonastaso (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional), and Megan Hoopes (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Twp.), while earning its fifth straight win as the Pioneers downed Bard (1-4), 78-51 on Jan. 22

TOP PERFORMERS:

• The Pioneers saw each of its seniors earn a first-place finish it today's meet as Hoopes secured first in the 200 free (2:10.68), Friedman earned first in the 200 IM (2:25.07) and Santonastaso touched first in the 1000 free (13:24.26).
• Sophomore Abigail Malandro (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) took first for WP in 50 free with a time of 26.45 and the 100 free with a time of 59.90.
• Sophomore Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic) contributed to the William Paterson total, touching the wall first in the 100 fly (1:08.18) and touching third in the 200 IM (2:37.43).
