EWING, N.J. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (3-5-1, 0-2 NJAC) dropped a 3-1 decision at The College of New Jersey (3-5-1, 1-0-1 NJAC) Sept. 25.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Lions jumped out to an early 2-0 advantage thanks to goals in the 10th and 13th minutes.
• TCNJ made it a 3-0 score with a header 26 seconds before halftime.
• Senior forward Jacob Von Giebel (Lambertville, N.J./South Hunterdon) scored his fourth goal of the season with a 20-yard free kick in the 47th minute.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior Sean Furtek (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) made two stops in goal.
