PITMAN, N.J. – The second-seeded William Paterson men's soccer team (2-1, 2-1 NJAC) will begin its quest for a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament title when the Pioneers play in the semifinals Saturday, April 10 against third-seeded Ramapo (3-1-1, 2-1-1 NJAC) at 2:00 p.m.

WHAT'S ON THE LINE:
- The winner advances to the NJAC title game. The highest remaining seed will host the championship match Wednesday, April 14 at a time to be determined.
WP IN THE NJAC TOURNAMENT:
- WP is making its 12th appearance in the NJAC Tournament (1973, 1975, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2021). The Pioneers are seeking their third conference title (1973, 1975).
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS:
- Four different Pioneers have registered goals this season: Chris Fuentes (Red Bank, N.J./Red Bank Regional), Daniel Ramm (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Twp. ), Alfredo Gonzalez (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and Jacob Von Giebel (Lambertville, N.J./South Hunterdon).
- Fuentes has tallied a team-high two assists.
- Goalkeeper Thomas Hatch (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) has 13 saves and one shutout this season for WP.
SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS:
- A trio of Roadrunners: Thiago Stallbaum, Damian Zurawski and Ederson La Torres pace Ramapo with two goal apiece this spring.
- Zurawski and Massimo Gallorini are tied for the team lead with two assists.
- In goal, Joshua Schaffer has made 23 and posted one shutout.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
- Ramapo took the lead in the eight minute, but a strike by Gonzalez leveled the at the 23:34 mark. However, the Roadrunners found the back of the net twice within four minutes to claim a 3-1 victory March 17.
