BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (7-1, 0-1 NJAC) posted a 115-74 victory over Brooklyn College (1-2, 1-0 CUNYAC) Nov. 23 to remain undefeated against the Bulldogs over four seasons.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Senior diver Ashley Lawler (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) placed first in both diving events.  She recorded 209.48 points in the one-meter dive and 207.23 points in the three-meter dive. 
• Sophomore Megan Hoopes (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Twp.) was also a double winner as she placed first in the 200 free (2:12.75) and the 100 back (1:10.38).
• Junior Sarah Myers (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) placed first in the 1000 free (15:05.26) to record her first collegiate victory.
• Senior Mariah Jenkins (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) won the 100 breast, notching a 1:16.47 finish.
• Freshman Jillian Starace (Toms River/Toms River East) touched first in the 100 free with a time of 1:03.88, a personal best.
• Leah Santonastaso (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) claimed the 500 free. The sophomore swam a time of 6:46.36.
• Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) posted a first-place finish in the 100 fly.  The sophomore touched the wall in 1:09.95.
