WESTMINSTER, Md. – Two early goals cost William Paterson (9-9-3, 4-4-1 NJAC) as the Pioneers' season came to an end with a 3-0 loss at McDaniel (16-6, 6-4 Centennial) in the ECAC Women's Soccer Tournament semifinals Nov. 23.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Green Terror got on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal at the 5:20 mark, then made it 2-0 in the 11th minute.
• McDaniel tacked on a third goal with 18:32 remaining.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior goalkeeper Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) finished with four saves during the first 79:48 of action, and freshman Brooke Sachau (Franklin, N.J./Franklin) played the final 10:12.
• WP was the third seed in Pod 4 of the tourney, and McDaniel was the top overall seed.
