DANBURY, CONN. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (9-8-2, 4-4-1 NJAC) will square off against host Albright (13-8, 5-3 MAC Commonwealth) in the ECAC Tournament quarterfinals Sunday, Nov. 17, at 12:00 p.m.

The Pioneers are the third seed in the ECAC's Pod 4, while the Lions are the top seed.

WHAT'S ON THE LINE:
- The advancing team will play in the semifinals Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11:00 a.m. against the team advancing out of Pod 1 of the bracket. The championship match will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 24, at 12:00 p.m. The host site for the final two rounds will be determined after the conclusion of the quarterfinal matches.
WP IN THE ECAC TOURNAMENT:
- WP is making its third ECAC Tournament appearance in the last four years (2000, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2019), and the Pioneers are seeking their second title (2009).
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS:
- William Paterson is coming off a 2-1 victory against second-seeded Wilkes (8-9-1, 4-3 MAC Freedom) in the ECAC Tournament first round Nov. 16. The Pioneers reached the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament.
- The 2019 NJAC Offensive Player of the Year and a four-time first-team all-conference selection, senior forward Marisa Adelman (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) paces the team in goals (12) and points (28). She was the 2018 NJAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year, the 2016 ECAC Metro Region Rookie of the Year and the 2016 NJAC Co-Rookie of the Year.
- Senior midfielder Lorraine Moffitt (Paramus, N.J./Paramus), an honorable-mention all-NJAC pick each of the last two seasons, owns five goals and a team-best eight assists.
- Honorable-mention all-league junior midfielder Danielle Dachowski (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury) has tallied 17 points (7 g, 3 a), while four-time all-NJAC selection Kristen Bowe (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) has collected five goals and an assist as a senior midfielder. Senior forward Corrine Bowe (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls), also an honorable-mention all-conference designee, owns four goals and four assists.
- Junior Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) has compiled a 1.48 goals-against average, .769 save percentage and three shutouts while starting 16 matches in goal. Senior back Ashley Cozzi (Middletown, N.J./Middletown South), a starter in all 75 career contests, garnered second-team all-NJAC laurels this fall.
SCOUTING THE LIONS:
- Albright is coming off a 1-0 win against fourth-seeded Penn State Harrisburg (11-11-1, 7-2-1 NEAC) in the ECAC Tournament first round Nov. 16. The Lions advanced to the semifinals of the MAC Commonwealth Tournament.
- Junior forward Lauren Haley leads Albright with nine goals and 21 points, garnering second-team all-Commonwealth honors. Sophomore midfielder Autumn Bieber, a member of the All-MAC Commonwealth First Team, has chipped in seven goals and six assists for 20 points, and sophomore forward/midfielder Diza Hasanaj has scored eight goals.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Donkus owns a 1.39 goals-against average, .780 save percentage and three shutouts during 18 appearances.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
- This will be the first meeting between the WP and Albright women's soccer programs.
