All Three Women's Swimming and Diving Seniors Contribute to Triumph Bard on Senior Day

WAYNE, N.J. – Seniors Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran), Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional), and Christianne Joyce Pineda (Haskell, N.J./Hackensack) tallied victories after being honored at the Senior Day meet where the women's swimming and diving team (9-2, 1-1 NJAC) recorded a 67-38 triumph against Bard (0-6) Jan. 19.

TOP PERFORMERS:

Senior Christianne Joyce Pineda (Haskell, N.J./Hackensack) contributed her victory in the 100 fly by touching first in 1:09.71.
Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) was a double winner in the meet. The senior defeated her opponents in the 50 free and the 100 back with respective times of 27.07 and 1:04.22.
Senior Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) earned three victories on Senior Day. She won the 200 free in 2:10.54, the 100 free in 1:00.91, and the 500 free in 5:55.55.
Freshman Leah Santonastaso (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) recorded her first collegiate victory by finishing first in the 1000 free with a personal best time of 12.59.09. She also placed second in the 500 free with another personal best time of 6:25.14.
Diver Ashley Lawler (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) took home both the one-meter and three-meter diving events. The junior earned scores of 145.12 and 174.97, respectively.
Junior Mariah Jenkins (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) swam a personal best time of 1:19.42 to win the 100 breast.
Freshman Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) touched the wall in 2:36.22 to defeat opponents in the 200 IM.
