HAMBURG, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (0-3) dropped its opening dual match of the spring season, 320-337, to FDU-Florham (4-1) March 30 at the par-71, 6,555-yard Wild Turkey Golf Course.
 
Sophomore Jake Imbasciani (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) paced the Pioneers and finished fourth overall with a 10-over 81. Junior William Rose (Totowa, N.J./Passaic Valley) and freshman Jack Maloney (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) each carded 84s (+13), while sophomore Tyler Thompson recorded a 17-over 88. Senior Nick Pastor Poe (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) finished with a 93 (+22).
 
Junior Brendan Demitus and freshman Bobby Greer, III each posted 79s (+8) to lead the Devils.
 
William Paterson will compete at the Moravian Spring Invitational Wednesday, April 4, at 12:00 p.m. at Southmoore Golf Course in bath, Pa.
