WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (7-11, 1-5 NJAC) celebrated Senior Day by honoring goalie
Mallory Rickerhauser (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional), but a last-second goal was not enough to save the Pioneers from a 5-3 loss against NJAC competition Kean (9-10, 2-4 NJAC) Oct. 26.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Freshman forward Abigail Viola (Monroe Township, N.J./Monroe Township) recorded her eighth and final goal of the season in the 69th minute to inch closer to the Cougars
- Utilizing a last-second corner, junior midfielder Shannon Super (Oaklyn, N.J./Collingswood) took a straight shot to goal to finalize the game, 5-3, in Kean's favor
