MAHWAH, N.J. – Junior forward Marisa Adelman (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) scored her conference-leading 16th and 17th goals of the season as the William Paterson women's soccer team (7-10, 3-6) closed out its regular season by registering a 3-1 victory at Ramapo (3-13, 1-8 NJAC) Oct. 24.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Sophomore forward Corrine Bowe (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) broke a scoreless tie in the 26th minute when she fired a strike past the keeper for her fifth goal of the season.
• With time running down in the opening half, freshman midfielder Michaela Stanton's (Tinton Falls, N.J./Monmouth Regional) pass found Adelman, who then proceeded to find the back of the net at the 44:59 mark.
• Adelman's second score of the afternoon, off the assist from classmate Morgan Bringoli (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat), concluded the Pioneer's scoring in the 88th minute.
• Ramapo got on the board at 67:30 mark as Skyler Rybacki headed home a cross from Liliann Vizcaino.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Sophomore goalkeeper Erica Hickey (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./Comsewogue) collected a season-best 12 saves.
