Women's Swimming and Diving Upends FDU-Florham

The Pioneers Win 96-54

Senior Quinn Reynolds was a double winner in the 50 free and 100 back.

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (2-0) won over a handful of races at FDU-Florham (0-2) to defeat the Devils 96-54 Oct. 19.

TOP PERFORMERS:

Senior Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) was a double winner by taking home the 50 free in 27.39, and the 100 back in 1:05.45.
Freshman Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) also earned a double winner title by touching the wall first in the 200 IM (2:36.34) and the 100 fly (1:07.96).
Senior Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) outswam her competition in the 1000 free with a time of 12:34.37.
Freshman Kassey Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) recorded a victory in the 100 free with a time of 1:01.74.
Junior Mariah Jenkins (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) took home the 100 breast with a time of 1:20.48.
