HAMBURG, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (2-0) posted its lowest round of the season, finishing off its fall slate with a 323-363 victory against New Jersey City (0-1) Oct. 19.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Junior Jake Imbasciani's (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) career-best 75 (+3) led the field, while senior Troy Hartung (Hawthorne, N.J./Passaic County Tech) was second overall with an eight-over 80.
Junior Tyler Thomson (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) and sophomore Jack Mahnoey both carded rounds of 84 (+12) to tie for fourth place.
Freshman Justin Bundschuh (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) shot a 97 (+25) during his collegiate debut.
The match was the second straight for the Pioneers on the par-72, 6,334-yard Black Bear Golf Course layout.
WP was remarkably consistent during its three fall events, posting team totals of 324 (+48) Oct. 1 at the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational and 325 (+37) Oct. 5 against FDU-Florham.
The 323 (+35) from today's match was the Pioneers' ninth-lowest total since the program was re-instated at William Paterson in 2011.
