UNION, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (3-14, 0-6 NJAC) fell at No. 9 Kean (18-1, 5-1 NJAC), 3-0, during the Pioneers' season finale Oct. 28.
Senior midfielder/back Shauna LaMaina converted a Jenna Patrone penalty corner less than five minutes into the contest, and senior midfielder Teresa Carr made it a 2-0 margin in the 16th minute with a shot from the top of the circle. LaMaina later redirected a Carr pass from the top of the circle at the 27:55 mark for her second goal of the night.

Mallory Rickerhauser (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional) collected eight saves for WP, and freshman Megan Houser and sophomore Bailee Mullen combined for one stop for the Cougars.
