ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (10-6) triumphed in its last dual meet of the season, 73-54, at Bard (3-11) Feb. 13.
Junior
Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) finished an impressive year with two more wins in the 50 breast (31.72) and the WP record in the 100 IM (1:03.05). She finished the season undefeated in the 50, 100, and 200 breast and the 100 and 200 IM.
Senior
Hannah Hillebrand (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) recorded the highest scores in both the one-meter (242.25) and three-meter (233.86) dives. HIllebrand finished her dual meet career at WP without dropping a single three-meter event.
Freshman
Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) touched first with her personal best time in the 50 back (29.70), and freshman
Christianne Joyce Pineda (Haskell, N.J./Hackensack) won the 50 fly (29.98).
Freshman
Hilde Gehr (Orange, Conn./Amity Regional) recorded her first collegiate win as she swam the 200 free in 2:17.41.
Freshman
Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) triumphed in the 50 free (27.48).
The Pioneers will compete at the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 19-21 at Rutgers University in Piscataway.
