DANBURY, CONN. – Second-seeded William Paterson (13-5-1, 5-4 NJAC) will face third-seeded FDU-Florham (9-8-4, 3-3-1 MAC Freedom) in the ECAC Women's Soccer Tournament first round Saturday, Nov. 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Gaelic Park in Riverdale, N.Y.

In the other Region 2 first-round match Nov. 12, host and top-seeded NYU (10-3-5, 1-2-4 UAA) will square off against fourth-seeded Stockton (12-7-2, 5-3-1 NJAC) at 11:00 a.m.
The two first-round winners will meet in the quarterfinals Sunday, Nov. 13, at Gaelic Park at 11:00 a.m. The semifinals and final will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19-20, at a site to be determined.
The Pioneers are coming off a 1-0 loss at Montclair State (15-3-1, 7-2 NJAC) Oct. 29 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament first round. Earlier this season, WP earned a 1-0 victory at FDU-Florham (Sept. 10).
The NJAC Co-Rookie of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection, freshman forward
Marisa Adelman (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) leads WP with 18 goals and 40 points. Freshman midfielder
Kristen Bowe (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls), an honorable-mention all-NJAC selection, owns seven goals and five assists for 19 points, while freshman forward
Carla LaRocca (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) ranks third with 12 points (5 g, 2 a).
Second-team all-league pick senior back
Tori Woetzel (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) has collected four goals while starting all 19 matches this fall, helping the Pioneer defense notch seven shutouts. Junior back
Adrianna Oliveira (Union, N.J./Union) owns a team-best eight assists while starting all 19 matches, chipping in a goal for 10 points. She was joined on the All-NJAC Honorable Mention by junior back
Diana Perez (Ocean Twp., N.J./Ocean Twp.), who has started 18 of 19 matches on the back line, contributing four goals and two assists while helping the WP defense compile seven shutouts.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Angela Sandelli (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) has posted a 1.38 goals-against average, .753 save percentage and four shutouts while starting 17 times.
William Paterson is making its fifth ECAC Tournament appearance (2000, 2003, 2009, 2012, 2016), and is seeking its second title (2009).
WP was 4-9-4 overall and 1-5-3 in conference play a year ago.
