ECAC Tournament Central 
DANBURY, CONN. – Second-seeded William Paterson (8-8-2, 3-6 NJAC) will take on third-seeded Moravian (8-4-4, 2-2-3 Landmark) in the ECAC Men's Soccer Tournament first round Saturday, Nov. 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Ramapo College.

In the other Region 3 first-round match Nov. 12, host and top-seeded Ramapo (10-4-3, 2-4-3 NJAC) will square off against fourth-seeded Staten Island (11-7-2, 5-2-1 CUNYAC) at 11:00 a.m.
The two first-round winners will meet in the quarterfinals Sunday, Nov. 13, at Ramapo at 12:00 p.m. The semifinals and final will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19-20, at a site to be determined.
The Pioneers are coming off a 2-0 loss against No. 7 Rutgers-Newark (18-2, 8-1 NJAC) in the regular-season finale Oct. 26.
 
Four Pioneers were honorable-mention all-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) selections. Freshman midfielder/back 
Keysean Brant-Sharp (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) paced WP with six goals and 12 points, starting 16 times in 17 matches played, while junior midfielder
 JP Gonzales (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) owns 11 points (4 g, 3 a) in 18 matches. Freshman midfielder 
Darwin Cruz (Bayonne, N.J./Bayonne) has collected two goals while starting 10 of 15 appearances, and sophomore back 
Zach Perez (Edison, N.J./Rutgers Prep) has one goal and an assist while starting all 18 contests, helping the WP defense register eight shutouts.
 
Freshman 
Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) has posted a 1.71 goals-against average, .690 save percentage and six shutouts while starting all 18 contests.
 
William Paterson is making its 14th ECAC Tournament appearance (1972, 1974, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984, 1991, 1995, 2002, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016), and is seeking its second title (2008).
 
WP was 6-9-2 overall and 2-6-1 in conference play a year ago.
