DANBURY, CONN. – Second-seeded William Paterson (8-8-3, 3-6 NJAC) will take on fourth-seeded Staten Island (12-7-2, 5-2-1 CUNYAC) in the ECAC Men's Soccer Tournament quarterfinals Sunday, Nov. 13, at 12:00 p.m. at Ramapo College.

The winner will advance to the semifinals Saturday, Nov. 19, with the championship match slated for Sunday, Nov. 20, at a site to be determined.
The Pioneers advanced on penalty kicks, 3-1, after a 0-0 double-overtime draw against third-seeded Moravian (8-4-5, 2-2-3 Landmark) Nov. 12 in the first round. The Dolphins earned a 1-0 first-round victory at top-seeded Ramapo (10-5-3, 2-4-3 NJAC).

Keysean Brant-Sharp (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) paces WP with six goals and 12 points, starting 17 times in 18 matches played, while junior midfielder
JP Gonzales (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) owns 11 points (4 g, 3 a) in 19 contests. Freshman midfielder
Darwin Cruz (Bayonne, N.J./Bayonne) has collected two goals while starting 11 of 16 appearances, and sophomore back
Zach Perez (Edison, N.J./Rutgers Prep) has one goal and an assist while starting all 19 matches, helping the WP defense register nine shutouts.
Freshman
Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) has posted a 1.60 goals-against average, .718 save percentage and seven shutouts while starting all 19 contests.
William Paterson is making its 14th ECAC Tournament appearance (1972, 1974, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984, 1991, 1995, 2002, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016), and is seeking its second title (2008).
WP was 6-9-2 overall and 2-6-1 in conference play a year ago.
