MAHWAH, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (9-4, 0-2 NJAC) lost at Ramapo (3-3, 1-2 NJAC), 144-107, Jan. 26.

Junior Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) captured three events for the Pioneers, taking the 100 (1:11.00) and 200 (2:29.90) breasts and the 400 IM (4:51.77).

Freshman Christianne Joyce Pineda (Haskell, N.J./Hackensack) won the 100 fly (1:07.64), while freshman Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) finished third in the 100 free (1:01.66).

The Pioneers will travel to Montclair State Saturday, Jan. 30, to take on the Red Hawks at 1:00 p.m.
