ResultsKENILWORTH, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (3-0) carded a 33-over 317 to cruise past Yeshiva (355, +71) and host New Jersey City (414, +130) March 29 at the par-71, 6,273-yard Galloping Hill Golf Course.
The Pioneers' team total was the third-lowest score in school history (310, vs. Purchase, 3/28/12).
Sophomore
Christian Foti (Galloway, N.J./Absegami) had the best round of the day with a five-over 76, followed by junior
James Nuzzo (Edison, N.J./Edison) with a +7 78 to place third. Sophomore
Kyle Stefanic (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) was fourth overall with a nine-over 80, junior
Dylan Schley (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) carded a 12-over 83 to place sixth, and freshman
Matt Luppino (Little Ferry, N.J./Ridgefield Park) was ninth with a +20 round of 91.
The Pioneers will compete at the Susquehanna Invitational Monday, March 30, at Susquehanna Valley Country Club at 12:30 p.m.
