DALLAS, PA. – The William Paterson golf team (2-0) posted a team total of 334 (+46) to defeat Misericordia (2-2; 337, +49) and host Wilkes (0-8; 338, +50) Oct. 6.
 
Senior Jake Martin (Oakland, N.J./Ramapo) led the Pioneers with an eight-over 80 to tie for second place. Freshman Troy Hartung (Hawthorne, N.J./Passaic County Tech) carded an 82 (+10, fifth), and senior James Nuzzo (Edison, N.J./Edison) posted an 83 (+11, tied-sixth). Junior Kyle Stefanic (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) finished with a 17-over 89 (tied-10th) and senior Dylan Schley (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) had a 93 (+13, 13th).
 
Wilkes' Alex Anderson was the individual medalist with a six-over 78 at the 6,680-yard Huntsville Country Club course.
 
William Paterson will participate in the Muhlenberg Invitational Monday, Oct. 12, at 12:30 p.m.
