THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (3-0) benefitted from four double-winners to defeat Maritime (0-1), 115-78, Oct. 29.

Four women each won two events to secure the victory for the Pioneers. Senior Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) won the 200 (2:13.74) and 100 (59.54) frees, and classmate Hannah Hillebrand (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) took the highest score in both the one-meter (199.15) and three-meter (240.95) dives. 

Freshman Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) secured victories in the 100 back (1:04.93) and 50 free (26.79), while junior Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) took home the 200 IM (2:22.49) and 100 breast (1:11.94).

William Paterson will next compete against conference opponent Rowan Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 6:00 p.m. at Wightman Pool.
