Box Score WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (0-2) suffered a 3-0 field hockey loss against visiting New Paltz (2-0) Sept. 3.
Sophomore Kayla McKeveny got the Hawks on the board in the 19th minute when she knocked the ball in back-handed from three yards out. Senior Alex Gallo doubled the lead 10 minutes later, converting to the left side of the goal.
Junior Dani Ackerman took a shot from a tough angle on the left end line and put it high into the right side of the cage at the 55:28 mark, finishing the scoring.

Meg Davies (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) made five first-half saves for the Pioneers, and freshman
Courtney Ross (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) had three second-half stops during her first college action. Junior Alayna Wageman posted five saves for New Paltz.
William Paterson will visit Bryn Mawr Saturday, Sept. 6, at 1:00 p.m.
