Box Score STEVENSON, MD. – Senior Marcus Hackett (Montclair, N.J./Immaculate Conception) netted the game winner in the 79th minute as the William Paterson men's soccer team (4-3-1) defeated host Stevenson (8-2), 1-0, Sept. 21.
 
Hackett's header of a junior Juan Sebastian Londono (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) pass off a corner kick proved to be the difference, snapping the Mustangs' seven-match win streak in the process.
 
Sophomore Mike Diacheysn (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) posted three saves for the Pioneers, and Ryan Callinan made four stops for Stevenson.
 
William Paterson will start conference play Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Rutgers-Camden at 7:00 p.m.
