Box Score Video Highlights

WAYNE, N.J. – An early goal and a late strike were enough to give William Paterson (1-1-2) a 2-0 victory against Centenary (1-3) in the Pioneers' women's soccer home opener Sept. 10.

Freshman Rachel Rivell (Mickleton, N.J./Kingsway) handed the Pioneers a 1-0 edge just 1:51 into the contest, finishing senior Julia Siersema's (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) header to the left side of the goal.

Siersema again provided the assist as sophomore midfielder Sidney Gabrich (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) converted her pass for the insurance goal at the 83:04 mark.

Junior Kat Clint (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive) made one save for the shutout victory, while freshman Katerina Albanese finished with two stops for Centenary.

William Paterson will visit FDU-Florham Saturday, Sept. 13, at 3:00 p.m.
