McAFEE, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (2-1) finished its 2013-14 season with a 348-382 victory against New Jersey City (0-1) May 8 at the par-72, 6,529-yard Great Gorge Golf Course (Rail-Lake).
 
Senior Frank Herudek (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) led all competitors with a six-over 78, followed by junior John Quirolo (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield) with an 87 (+15). Sophomore James Nuzzo (Edison, N.J./Edison) had a 91 (+19), sophomore Dylan Schley (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) finished with a +20 92, and senior Michael Calabro (River Vale, N.J./Pascack Valley) carded a 93 (+21).
 
The Pioneers' team total was 60-over, and the Gothic Knights were +94 as a group, led by Patrick Cardoso and Christopher Murray at 93 (+21).
