James Nuzzo (Edison, N.J./Edison) carded a one-over 73 to help lead the William Paterson golf team (1-0) to a 319-381 victory against New Jersey City (0-2) Oct. 20.
The Pioneers' team total of 319 (+31) at the par-72, 6,529-yard Black Bear Golf Course tied for the third-lowest score in program history (310, vs. Purchase, 3/28/12).
Sophomore
Kyle Stefanic (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) posted a 75 (+3), followed by sophomore
Christian Foti (Galloway, N.J./Absegami) with an 85 (+13). Freshmen
Matt Luppino (Little Ferry, N.J./Ridgefield Park) and
William Rose (Totowa, N.J./Passaic Valley Regional) each finished with an 86 (+14).
Junior Jeremiah Williams had the best round of the day for NJCU with a 93 (+21).
