ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming & diving team (11-3, 0-2 NJAC) defeated Bard (2-5), 76-36, Jan. 25.

Freshman Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was a double winner for the Pioneers, placing first in the 200 free (2:12.43) and the 100 fly (1:09.51). Junior Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) touched first in the 50 (28.09) and 500 (6:03.57) frees. 

Sophomore Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) finished first in the 100 back (1:11.76) and the 1,650 free (20:55.66). Senior Kathryn Burke (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) posted a winning time of 2:37.59 in the 200 IM.

Senior Brianna Shea (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) touched first in the 100 breast (1:23.11), and sophomore Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) took first in the 100 free (1:01.02).

William Paterson will travel to Ramapo on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 6:00 p.m.
