WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming & diving team (10-3, 0-2 NJAC) earned a 122-79 victory against visiting Lehman (2-8-1) Jan. 23.

Courtney Lawler (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional) broke her own school record with a score of 249.23 in the one-meter dive, and senior
Katie Jeon (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) took first in the three-meter dive (232.55).

Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was a double winner for the Pioneers, placing first in the 100 (1:01.20) and 1,000 (11:54.59) frees. Junior
Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) touched first in the 50 (27.57) and 500 (5:53.97) frees.

Courtney Starace (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) posted a winning time of 1:10.35 in the 100 fly, and sophomore
Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) took first in the 100 back (1:10.66).
Sophomore
Sally Na (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) earned her first collegiate victory with a time of 1:23.15 in the 100 breast. Senior
Brianna Shea (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) turned in a winning time of 2:35.70 in the 200 free.

Kathryn Burke (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) and
Samantha Sweeney (Aberdeen, N.J./Matawan Regional) and sophomore
Sam Schilling (West Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) won the 200 medley relay in 2:12.77.
During the meet, the Pioneers honored Burke, Jeon, Shea and Sweeney on Senior Day.
William Paterson will travel to Bard on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:00 p.m.
