WAYNE, N.J. – Senior forward Sheray Anthony (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) scored two goals as the William Paterson women's soccer team (2-2-2) rolled to a 2-0 victory against FDU-Florham (3-3) Sept. 14.

Anthony put the Pioneers on the board at the 21:31 mark when she collected a free kick from senior back Nicole Sullivan (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) and lofted the ball over the goalkeeper's head after she came out of the net.

In the 83rd minute, a Meagan Collins (Long Beach, N.J./Monsignor Donovan) pass found Anthony who continued on a breakaway and beat the keeper's challenge to bring the score to 2-0.

Senior Alyssa Falduto (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) made three saves in the shutout for the Pioneers. Anna George stopped four shots for the Devils.

William Paterson will open New Jersey Athletic Conference play at New Jersey City Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1:00 p.m.
