Box Score HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (1-2-2) played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Centenary (0-3-1) Sept. 11.
Junior midfielder
Alana Keffer (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Borough) put the Pioneers on the board in the 81st minute when she found a
Jackie Gage (Tinton Falls, N.J./Monmouth Regional) pass and scored from the top of the box to give WP a 1-0 lead.
Centenary tied the match at the 89:23 mark when Laura Potter lofted a shot over the goalkeeper's head from 20 yards out.
Senior
Alyssa Falduto (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) made two saves for the Pioneers, while Nikki Gillis stopped five shots for Centenary.
William Paterson will face FDU-Florham Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11:00 a.m.
