PURCHASE, N.Y. – The William Paterson golf team (1-0) earned a 342-344 victory against host Purchase (0-2) April 10 at the par-70 Old Oaks Country Club.

Junior Kevin Ix (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) had the low round of the day with a nine-over 79.  Freshman James Nuzzo (Edison, N.J./Edison) carded an 84 (+14), sophomore Frank Herudek (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) posted an 87 (+17), freshman Michael Calabro (River Vale, N.J./Pascack Valley) had a 92 (+22) and sophomore Matthew Santos (Newark, N.J./East Side) finished with a 111 (+31).

William Paterson will compete at the Rutgers-Camden Invitational Friday, April 12, at Pennsauken Country Club.
