MADISON, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming & diving team (2-0) earned a 97-33 victory at FDU-Florham (0-4), Oct. 27.

There were four double winners for the Pioneers. Sophomore Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) placed first in the 500 (6:07.53) and 1,000 (12:35.34) frees, and junior Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) won the 100 (1:01.78) and 200 (2:15.20) frees.

Sophomore Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) posted winning times of 28.28 in the 50 free and 1:11.34 in the 100 back. Freshman Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) touched first in the 100 fly (1:09.90) and the 100 breast (1:14.00).

Senior Kathryn Burke (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) finished first in the 200 IM (2:35.19).

William Paterson will travel to Maritime on Wednesday, October 30, at 6:00 p.m.
