RESULTS

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The William Paterson golf team (4-0-1) tied host FDU-Florham (5-2-1), 342-342, and defeated Centenary (2-3), 342-350, April 9 at the par-72 Morris County Golf Course.     

Senior Shane Edwards (Newton, N.J./Newton) carded the best round of the day with a 79 (+7).  Classmate Jim Bakelaar (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) tied for third overall with an 11-over 83.

Senior Paul Link (Wayne, N.J./Hazelton Area, Pa.) posted an 88 (+16), and classmate Matt Scozzari (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) had a 92 (+20).  Freshman Erich Gentile (North Haledon, N.J./Paramus Catholic) finished with a 94 (+22).

William Paterson will compete at the Rutgers-Camden Invitational Wednesday, April 11, at Pennsauken Country Club at 12:30 p.m.
