VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

LAFAYETTE, N.J. – William Paterson (3-0) cruised past New Jersey City (0-1) for a 316-407 golf victory April 6 at the par-71, 6,060-yard Farmstead Golf Course.     

Senior Shane Edwards (Newton, N.J./Newton) had the best score of the day with a 75 (+4) during a blustery and cool round.  Freshman Erich Gentile (North Haledon, N.J./Paramus Catholic) posted his best collegiate round with a 76 (+5), while senior Jim Bakelaar (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) tied for third overall with an 11-over 82.

Senior Paul Link (Wayne, N.J./Hazelton Area, Pa.) carded an 83 (+12), and classmate Matt Scozzari (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) had an 86 (+15).  Freshman Rob Thomson (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) finished with an 89 (+18), and classmate Matthew Santos (Newark, N.J./East Side) contributed a 100 (+29).

Brian Ferrante led the Gothic Knights with an 82 (+11).

William Paterson will face FDU-Florham Monday, April 9, at Morris County Golf Course at 1:00 p.m.
