WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (4-2) earned a 111-70 victory against visiting FDU-Florham (0-7) Dec. 5.
Senior
Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) was a double winner for the Pioneers, placing first in the 200 free (2:13.63) and the 500 free (6:00.80). Classmate
Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) won the 200 IM (2:32.91).
Junior
Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) posted a winning time of 1:07.81 in the 100 back, and classmate
Kathryn Burke (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) touched first in the 100 fly (1:08.01).
Freshman
Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) won the 1,650 free in 21:02.00, and junior
Brianna Shea (Turnersville, N.J. / Washington Twp.) placed first in the 100 breast (1:21.66).
William Paterson will celebrate Parents Appreciation Day against Adelphi Saturday Dec.8, at 1 p.m.
