WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (6-3) earned a 107-77 victory against visiting College of St. Elizabeth (1-3) Dec. 15.
Senior
Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) was a double winner for the Pioneers, placing first in the 200 free (2:10.29) and the 100 fly (1:08.44). Classmate
Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) posted a personal-best time of 1:17.77 to win the 100 breast.
Junior
Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J. / East Brunswick) touched first in the 50 free (28.11), and sophomore
Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) won the 100 back in 1:07.17. Freshman
Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) took first in the 1,000 free (12:29.74).
Junior
Katie Jeon (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) won the one-meter (119.63) and the one-meter optional (160.73) dives.
Freshman
Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) recorded three personal-best times, placing second in the 100 free (1:59.47), third in the 200 free (2:11.42), and turning in a time of 26.87 on her leg of the 200 free relay.
William Paterson will go on the road to face Queens College on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 6:00 p.m.
