Women's Swimming Defeats Ramapo, 154-107

Pioneers Finish Dual-Meet Schedule with NJAC Victory

Junior Brett Kuchin was a triple winner, touching first in the 200 IM (2:28.10) and posting season-best times in the 100 (1:11.96) and 200 (2:39.28) breasts.
WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (12-3, 1-3 NJAC) finished its dual-meet schedule with a 154-107 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) victory against visiting Ramapo (5-6, 1-3 NJAC) Feb. 7.

Junior Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was a triple winner, touching first in the 200 IM (2:28.10) and posting season-best times in the 100 (1:11.96) and 200 (2:39.28) breasts. Freshman Giuliana Trapani (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) won the 50 (26.83) and 100 (59.33) frees, while senior Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) finished first in the 200 free (2:09.00). Junior Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) added a victory in the 100 fly (1:05.29).

William Paterson will compete in the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 18-20 at Rutgers University in Piscataway, N.J.
