Women’s Swimming & Diving Falls at Adelphi

Pioneers Lose at Division II Panthers, 53-42

Senior Jaimie Hinshelwood was part of the winning 200 free relay (1:53.42) at Division II Adelphi.
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (7-3) fell at Division II Adelphi (6-1), 53-42, Dec. 10.

Senior Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) won the 100 fly (1:06.52), and sophomore Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) turned in a personal-best time of 2:08.88 to place second in the 200 free.

The 200 free relay of Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional), Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn), Jaimie Hinshelwood (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) and Kathryn Burke (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) posted a winning time of 1:53.42.

William Paterson will return to action Wednesday, Jan. 18, hosting Queens at 6:00 p.m.
