Women’s Swimming & Diving Improves to 6-2

Pioneers Defeat Saint Elizabeth, 43-38

Junior Taylor McKay won the 100 (1:02.81) and 1,000 (12:38.22) frees in a 43-38 victory at Saint Elizabeth.
MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team improved to 6-2 this season with a 43-38 victory at Saint Elizabeth (1-3) Nov. 16.

Senior Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) posted victories in the 50 free (27.82) and 100 breast (1:15.56), while junior Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) won the 100 (1:02.81) and 1,000 (12:38.22) frees.  Sophomore Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) touched first in the 200 free (2:13.70), and freshman Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional), the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week, was victorious in the 100 back (1:08.25).

William Paterson will return to action Tuesday, Dec. 6, at FDU-Florham at 6:00 p.m.
