MONTCLAIR, N.J. – William Paterson (4-14, 1-5 NJAC) dropped a 1-0 decision in its final New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) field hockey contest at No. 6 Montclair State (17-1, 5-1 NJAC) Oct. 26.

The Pioneers held Montclair State scoreless throughout the first half, but the Red Hawks broke through in the 51st minute. Junior forward Kate Norgard finished a pass from Emily Burd to score the winning goal for MSU.

Senior Meghan Trivett (Highlands, N.J./Middletown North) finished with nine saves for the Pioneers. Megan Bosland had one save for the Red Hawks.

William Paterson will finish the season Saturday, Oct. 29, at Alvernia at 1:00 pm.
