MAHWAH, N.J. – William Paterson (6-2-2, 3-0-1 NJAC) rallied from an early 1-0 deficit, extending its women's soccer unbeaten streak to eight matches with a 2-1 victory at Ramapo (3-7, 0-4 NJAC) Sept. 29.
Kim Bruno gave the host team the early lead when she finished a Melissa Demko cross in the 18th minute. The Roadrunners held off the Pioneers until 10 minutes into the second half, when freshman

Michelle Marabondo (Kenvil, N.J./Roxbury) cross. Sophomore
Laela Brock (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) provided the game winner for William Paterson in the 72nd minute, scoring over the head of Ramapo goalkeeper Talia Auslin.
Auslin's five saves were augmented by a stop from a Ramapo defender. Freshman
Alyssa Falduto (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) had four saves for the Pioneers.
William Paterson will celebrate Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 2, when the Pioneers host Rowan at 6:00 p.m.
