Women's Swimming and Diving Defeats FDU-Florham, 109-45

Trapani and Horowitz are Double Winners for Pioneers

Senior Lauren Horowitz touched first in the 500 (6:06.03) and 1,650 (20:50.52) frees.
WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (8-1) returned from its Thanksgiving break with a 109-45 women's swimming and diving win against FDU-Florham (1-7) Dec. 9.

Freshman Giuliana Trapani (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) had a pair of victories in the 100 (59.01) and 200 (2:09.33) frees, while senior Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) touched first in the 500 (6:06.03) and 1,650 (20:50.52) frees.

Recording personal-best times were sophomore Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) in the 200 fly (2:32.49), senior Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) in the 200 back (2:23.68) and sophomore Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) in the 400 IM (5:22.67).

Junior Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) registered a victory in the 200 breast (2:44.30), freshman Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) touched first in the 50 free (27.43), and freshman Katie Jeon (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) won the one-meter dive (86.05).

William Paterson will host Adelphi Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1:00 p.m.
