HOBOKEN, N.J. – Caitlin Chamberlain's goal in the 27th minute gave host Stevens (6-7) a 1-0 field hockey victory against William Paterson (4-9) Oct. 13.

Chamberlain took a Mary Nikish pass down the right side and sent it across for the lone goal of the afternoon.

Junior Meghan Trivett (Highlands, N.J./Middletown North) had eight saves for the Pioneers, and was helped by a defensive save from Melissa Szeliga (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield). Ellyn Griggs had two stops for the Ducks.

William Paterson will visit Susquehanna Saturday, Oct. 16, at 1:00 p.m.
