HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (2-3-1) dropped a 2-0 decision at Centenary (5-1) Sept. 16.

The Cyclones scored both of their goals in the second half, the first a Caitlin Veverka strike during the 62nd minute of play, and the second a Caroline Mountney unassisted score during the 87th minute.

Senior Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) had three saves for the Pioneers, and Ashley Denti had three stops for Centenary.

William Paterson will begin New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play Saturday, Sept. 19, at Rutgers-Camden at 7:00 p.m.
